A Winter wedding at Chateau Rhianfa

 A Winter Wedding Chateau Rhianfa

Joy, there was an absolute abundance of it at Michelle and Brian’s winter wedding at Chateau Rhianfa. Isn’t there usually I hear you ask? Well yes but there was something extra today, an X factor perhaps.

Spontaneity

I have to admit it was impossible not to be swept up with the party spirit. I walked into The Duchess; The Bridal Suite and within moments Michelle was in the bath sipping champagne, it was such a hoot. Michelle’s friend suggested she wear her wedding dress, great merriment ensued as this was popped over Michelle’s head. Having your mates along for this special ride is simply the best decision for a small wedding.

Poetry

I have been shooting weddings for a while now, fifteen years or so and today was the first time I’d heard these two poems at a wedding. John Cooper Clarke’s ‘I wanna be yours’ and Bee Rawlinson’s ‘Love me when I’m old’. Look them up, they’re gorgeous and utterly perfect for this wedding.

Joy

Joy in the friendships,  the occasion, the gorgeous venue; Chateau Rhianfa, the poetry, the stories oh I could go on, this really was the most wonderful day at the office so to speak. I was with Michelle and Brian between 90 and 12o mins. I can achieve a lot in that time and I can capture some super memories for you to treasure.
