Oh my, a Tre-Ysgawen Hall wedding, at long last Lauren and Darren’s wedding had come around.
When Lauren described all of the beautiful detail she’d selected for her wedding my eyes got wider and wider. Hairstylist Kate , MUA Fflur and I marvelled at Lauren’s choice of dress; a Jenny Packham design. Not to mention Jimmy Choo shoes. I got to play with these fabulous designs. I’m always relieved if the bride’s shoe size differs from mine. There’s less of a temptation to try them on.
Would the rain hold off for this Tre-Ysgawen Hall wedding?
A new church for me, St. Beuno in Trefdraeth. Lots of parking, a sleepy road and a nice long path to the church door. A nice long path gives me the opportunity to capture guests walking towards church. It also offers a little more time for the bride to contemplate the next part of her day. You will notice in the following images Lauren and Darren’s adorable daughter Olivia. She was a poppet and walked freely during the service, admiring her own dress. I’ve featured a shot of the order of service. It has an illustration of St. Beuno on the front. The design is by Anna Gwenllian, do have a look at her work, she’s very talented.
The rain came
Regardless we managed a confetti throw, thank goodness; it’s always a very happy part of the day. I do say the more ‘ta – dah’ moments we can provide for you and your guests the better.
I have thanked Lauren and Darren so much for being so agreeable where their main portrait shots were concerned. I’ve never had to ask a bride and groom to leave their dinner table (in between courses might I add). The rain had set in and I was desperately watching the sky for a hint of blue. It came and we took action. Out we went into Tre-Ysgawen’s grounds.
This is just flavour of Lauren and Darren’s wedding. If you like the way I’ve told their story then please let’s talk about your wedding photography.
